By using wind data analysis and LES combined with SEM to model turbulence in the ABL over complex terrain I predict the local wind conditions at different detail levels on potential sites for wind farms and solar power plants. This valuable information provides project developers the necessary data to perform energy yield assessments and wind loading calculations.
